Contracting service, measuring land and within the forest using GPS. Maps can be overlaid on Google earth or printed as normal. Available also are the Farmnavigator and F @rmphone (a Smart phone, GPS measuring device and organiser). Both units record GPS positions in forestry, soil sample positions, take photos which can be geo-referenced. Records of business journeys can be kept and using Trackback, a return to previously recorded positions. These units will also assist parallel spraying or planting without the use of foam markers or sighting poles. Both come with satellite navigation for Ireland, UK and Europe.
The Ecocut saw horse can be mounted on a trailer or tractor loader bucket. Most suitable for cutting up light thinnings, cut blocks are then pushed into a trailer saving picking them from the ground.
