Coillte Training and Safety Services provide training for the forestry industry, local authorities, public bodies, and in the private sector for operatives, supervisors and managers. Courses include chainsaw operations, strimmer, pesticides, power cutter/abrasive wheels, Tractors, Pole saws, manual handling and Safety Managers courses.
Nationally/Internationally Recognised Standards by FETAC and NPTC all Coillte courses are fully insured and are deliver by highly competent staff and have the back up of a fully staffed training centre.

Teagasc Short Training Courses,
Nationwide
Teagasc, in conjunction with the Forest Service, provides field days and short forestry courses on all aspects of forestry in every county for those who are contemplating a forest enterprise or who have already planted. A range of skill courses such as vegetation control, shaping of broadleaves and high pruning are also available. All courses are delivered to FETAC standard.
