Euroforest Ireland is the largest independent provider of timber harvesting and marketing solutions in Ireland. Recently formed through the merger of both national and international entities, our managers have in excess of 25 years of progressive development and more than 50 years’ experience in maximising returns for our clients throughout Ireland. Activities nationwide are supported by our head office in Arklow, Co. Wicklow.

A vacancy has arisen at forester level. The successful candidate will be based in the Clare/Galway area. This is an opportunity for a motivated and ambitious individual to join a leading company in the forest products industry. UCD Forestry Survey

 UCD Forestry Survey

This survey is being undertaken by a group of students on the MSc Environmental Policy programme at University College Dublin. The study aims to investigate attitudes to current forestry issues in Ireland and find out whether it is possible to increase forest cover in Ireland without negatively affecting groups or communities. We would be extremely grateful if you would fill out this questionnaire about your: preferences, engagement, and views concerning Irish forestry policy.

The survey shall last around 10-15 minutes. All responses are anonymous.

Job Opportunity available for Experienced Excavator Operator

Due to an expanding workload we have a job opportunity available for an experienced excavator operator on our small and experienced team.

Tasks will consist primarily of forestry mounding, windrowing and drainage though candidates may be required to assist in forestry road works from time to time.

Position will be based mainly in Kerry and Cork.

What we require:

  • Candidates with first aid, manual handling, safe pass and 360 ticket preferred.
  • Experience in forestry would be advantageous but not essential.
  • A reliable and trustworthy candidate who demonstrates the ability to work to a high standard.
