Forest Sector Development Division deals with forest genetic resources, forest sector climate change adaptation and mitigation, international forest policy, EU Timber Regulation (EUTR), forest-based renewable energy, forest products and standards, roundwood production forecasts, forest harvest and trade statistics. The Division provides the secretariat to the Council for Forest Research and Development (COFORD).
