MEDITE SMARTPLY produces Medium Density Fibreboard or MDF at our manufacturing and research plant in Clonmel. MEDITE has established itself as the market leading brand of MDF, through the production of a wide range of specialist panels to meet the diverse requirements of users, specifiers and designers across Europe and the global market. Our extensive range includes eleven MDF product types, developed specifically with particular performance characteristics for a wide range of applications.

Our products are FSC ® certified (FSC licence code FSC-C020700), CE marked and EUTR compliant, making them the benchmarks for quality, consistency and performance across the MDF market. MEDITE is a pioneer of low formaldehyde emission panels.

This experience and focus has led to the development of products such as ‘MEDITE ECOLOGIQUE', a specialist zero-added formaldehyde product which, since its introduction, has been widely specified for environmentally sensitive interior applications such as hospitals, schools, museums, laboratories and art galleries. Further market leading innovation is demonstrated by ‘MEDITE TRICOYA EXTREME’, a revolutionary acetylated MDF construction panel, guaranteed for up to 50 years when used externally.
